Tapin Regency Council Commission II Conducts Work Visit to LKB

Tapin Regency Council Commission II from South Kalimantan conducts work visit (kunker) to Betawi Culture Institution (LKB) Office at Nyi Ageng Serang Building on Jl. HR. Rasuna Said, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

This can be a role model for our regency

Tapin Regency Council Commission II Secretary, Ihwanudin Husin Kasah said, his side wants to know about LKB method in preserving Jakarta arts and cultures through this kunker.

"I hear that Betawi Batik is famous, thus we came to Jakarta," he said, Tuesday (10/31).

Councils of Seven Regionals Conducted Kunker to City Council

According to him, his side also gets explaination in meeting about legal protection towards Betawi culture.

"This can be a role model for our regency. If Jakarta has LKB, of course we can have Tapin Culture Institution (LKT)," he expressed.

Meanwhile, LKB Head, Tatang Hidayat stated, his side is welcoming kunker from Tapin Regency Council Commission II.

"We are welcoming this kunker. Previously, I have explained about history, vision, mission and LKB roles for communities and cultural artists," he explained.

He stated, government concern to Betawi Culture has been mentioned in Perda No. 4/2015 about Betawi Culture Preservation, Pergub No. 229/2016 about Betawi Culture Preservation Management, and Pergub No.11/2017 about Betawi Icon.

"There are 150 studios registered and coached by LKB. We also cooperate with related SKPD to keep preserving and promoting Betawi cultures and arts," he closed.
